From paddy to perfect rice - our step-by-step premium processing
The process begins with receiving raw paddy rice from farmers. Each batch undergoes quality inspection for moisture content, maturity, and overall condition before being accepted.
Raw paddy undergoes initial cleaning to remove large foreign materials like straw, stones, soil clumps, and metal pieces that could damage equipment in later processing stages.
In the first stage of parboiling, cleaned paddy is soaked in water at controlled temperatures (60-70°C) for 3-4 hours, allowing water to penetrate the grain and begin starch gelatinization.
Soaked paddy is steamed under pressure to fully gelatinize the starch, which strengthens the grain, reduces breakage during milling, and preserves nutrients by driving them from the husk into the endosperm.
Steamed paddy is carefully dried in stages to gradually reduce moisture content from approximately 35% to the optimal 12-14%, preventing cracking while conditioning the grain for husking.
Dried paddy passes through rubber roll huskers that gently remove the outer husk layer while minimizing grain breakage, transforming paddy into brown rice while preserving the nutritious bran layer.
Brown rice undergoes a controlled abrasive process that gradually removes the bran layers to create white rice. Multiple polishing passes create increasingly refined rice with the desired whiteness level.
Polished rice passes through sieving machines with different mesh sizes to separate whole grains from broken pieces, ensuring uniformity in the premium rice grade.
Each batch of rice undergoes thorough quality assessment based on international standards, measuring attributes like whiteness, translucency, grain size consistency, and cooking characteristics.
The final sorted rice is precisely weighed and sealed in moisture-resistant packaging to maintain freshness, with each package marked with production details for quality assurance and traceability.
